Nexus Notes: Memo & Ideas

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to Nexus Notes: Memo & Ideas. Nexus Studio Utama is the app developer and the party responsible for the practices described here. This notice covers the current app release and direct privacy or support communications with us. It does not replace the privacy terms of your device platform or an external app or service you choose to use.

2. Information stored on your device

The app stores information you create or select locally in its private storage, including:

• note titles, note text, and creation and update dates;
• pinned and locked status, categories, and tags;
• sketches and audio recordings;
• copies of images, videos, audio, PDFs, and other files you attach; and
• settings such as language, theme, accent color, text size, and contrast.

The app uses this data on your device to provide, organize, display, search, authenticate access to, and delete the features you request.

3. Data sent to the developer

The current release has no Nexus Notes account, developer-operated cloud sync, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK. It does not automatically send your notes, attachments, contacts, precise or approximate location, advertising identifier, or browsing history to Nexus Studio Utama.

Google Play, Apple, the operating system, or the device manufacturer may separately process installation, purchase, security, usage, or diagnostic information under their own terms. Store consoles may provide Nexus Studio Utama with limited or aggregated technical reports, such as crash or performance information. Nexus Notes does not add your note content to those reports.

4. Permissions and device features

Nexus Notes uses device features only for the action you select:

• Microphone: requested when you start an audio recording.
• Camera: the system camera is opened when you choose to capture a photo or video.
• Media and files: the system media or file picker is opened when you choose an existing attachment. On supported Android versions, access is limited to the item you select.
• Device authentication: a device credential or biometric check is requested when you open a note marked Locked. Biometric matching is handled by the operating system. The app receives an authentication result and does not receive or store your biometric template.

You may deny or later revoke access in system settings. The related feature may then be unavailable, while other note features continue to work.

5. Sharing, external apps, and third parties

Nexus Studio Utama does not sell or rent your note content. Data leaves the app only when you initiate an external action or when a platform independently processes its own data.

• The Share action sends the note text you choose through the system share sheet to the app or service you select.
• Opening some attachment types may provide a temporary or app-private copy to the external viewer you select.
• Website, privacy-policy, email, and app-store links open external services.

Those recipients process data under their own privacy policies. Their copies are outside our control. Review the destination before sharing sensitive content.

6. Internet and offline operation

Core note creation, organization, search, and viewing work locally. The current Android release does not request the Internet permission and does not upload local notes to a Nexus Studio Utama server.

Optional actions can hand off a link, email, or selected content to a browser, email app, store, sharing destination, or other external app. That external app or service may use the internet independently.

7. Security and the Locked feature

App data is kept in the operating system's app-private storage where supported. The current Android release also:

• disables Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer for app data;
• blocks cleartext network traffic; and
• prevents screenshots or screen recording in non-debug builds.

These measures reduce risk but do not guarantee security. Locked is an access-control feature; note text and attachment files are not encrypted by Nexus Notes itself. Device encryption may provide separate protection. Anyone who can unlock or compromise your device, a rooted or jailbroken device, malicious software, operating-system defects, or external copies may expose data. Do not use Nexus Notes as an encrypted vault.

8. Backups and copies

Nexus Notes does not provide developer-operated backup or sync. Android app-data cloud backup and device transfer are disabled for the current Android release. Other platforms, device tools, or user-selected services may still create backups or copies under their own settings and policies.

Sharing, exporting, viewing in another app, or keeping the original selected file can also create copies outside Nexus Notes. Nexus Studio Utama cannot retrieve, manage, or delete those external copies.

9. Retention and deletion

Local data remains until you delete it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.

Deleting a note or attachment removes its Nexus Notes database record and the app-private attachment copy associated with it. It does not delete the original photo, video, audio, or document from which the attachment was selected. Temporary and cached files may remain until the app or operating system clears them. Storage hardware, file-system journaling, backups, and external recipients may prevent immediate or forensic erasure.

Because there is no developer-operated account or note database, Nexus Studio Utama cannot remotely access, recover, or delete your local notes.

10. Emails and support requests

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, name, message, and attachments. We use it to respond, troubleshoot, protect the service, and keep records when reasonably necessary.

Support correspondence is handled through our email provider and retained only as long as needed for those purposes, dispute prevention, security, or legal obligations, then deleted when reasonably practicable. Do not send note content or sensitive attachments unless needed for your request.

11. Children

Nexus Notes is a general-purpose productivity app and is not designed or marketed specifically for children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through the app. If a parent or guardian believes a child sent personal information directly to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

The target-audience declaration in the app store must remain consistent with this statement.

12. Your choices and requests

You can:

• create, edit, and delete local content in the app;
• revoke permissions in device settings;
• delete all local app data in system settings; or
• uninstall the app.

For personal information contained in direct correspondence with us, you may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing nexusmonetize@gmail.com, subject to identity verification and applicable legal exceptions. Your local notes are not available to us, so a privacy request sent to us cannot recover or modify them.

13. Processing locations

We do not transfer local note data to a developer-operated server. If you contact us or choose an external platform, that provider may process information in countries other than your own according to its infrastructure, safeguards, and privacy terms.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when app features, data practices, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and publish the revised policy in the app or at the public policy URL. Where reasonably required, material changes will also be communicated through an app or store update. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised notice where permitted by law.

Current-release transparency summary

Local notes and attachments are not automatically transmitted to Nexus Studio Utama. User-initiated sharing, external apps, support email, and independent platform processing are described above. The app's store Data safety declaration must always match the exact shipped build and its SDKs.
